Hey lovelies, I hope you liked my previous post, I was lucky enough that Edward himself saw my photos and thanked me. I was over the moon that my hard work paid off. I’ve had a lot of people ask me for a tutorial on the heart pinafore, so I’m going to have to organise that soon. But for now I have been editing photos all morning. I woke up earlier to do so, and I have about another six series of photos to be edited and prepared for blogging. I have become so lazy with it all, I see other bloggers posting at least everyday or twice even in one day which is just crazy!
These photos are inspired by lots of different things all connected some how, for instance I love to be able to cause a reaction through my clothes and fashion, sometimes I’ve had people even comment that my style changes so much, its mainly because I have so many ideas and fashion to me is a piece of art. So every outfit I wear is somewhat a character in a painting, I love to bring alive from my own imagination into reality. Yes they are all me and I’m not trying to be anyone else, I guess I just have many things I gain inspiration from. The dolly mixture glasses were briefly stuck on with blue tack and inspired by Megan McMinns DIY idea. Her photos have a kind of Hanzel and Grettel vibe which I admire. I have been using sweets to diy things for a while, last year I can remember making a belt from white chocolate mice but it fell apart. That is another thing that I wanted to try and portray in these photos, that something so sweet can never last long.
Other things that inspired me for this outfit, the current pastel trend, Meadham Kirchhoff’s SS12 collection called ‘A wolf in a lamb’s clothing’.
