Garbos Vegan Evening

Hey guys, this post has been delayed due to a hectic weekend, however last Thursday 26th Jan, my boyfriend and I headed over to a Vegan Evening at Garbos Uplands. I was quite nervous to go and eat out in restaurants because it used to be a weird little phobia I had growing up, along with suffering from social anxiety. When we headed over in the evening we were warmly welcomed by the waiters, and directed to our reserved seats. After much deliberation over what to choose from the menu, not used to having so much choice in places as a Vegan (Fries only please) I decided to go with the Vegan Sushi and my boyfriend went with the soup. I had butterflies and wish I had a glass of wine to be honest to calm myself down a bit, but you had to buy it by the bottle and he didn't fancy drinking. It's silly really but those people who suffer with anxiety will understand how much they can wind themselves up over nothing. I managed to finish the starters and it was actually really delicious, I have missed Sushi so much.

When we waited for mains, I think my pms got the better of me, (sorry for the tmi) but I got upset over something really small when I was talking to my boyfriend which then spoilt the whole evening for me. I couldn't get out of being in a mood, Ladies I'm sure you can relate... Anyways, I tried to eat mains and it looked delicious. I had the Sweet Potato Gnocchi with a Cheese Cream Sauce, Roasted Hazelnuts and Broccoli and the boyfriend had an Indian Pie with Lentils. He managed to eat of all his, but I didn't, which I regret because it did taste really nice! The presentation of the food was impeccable and I wish I was in a better mood to thank the Chefs at the end of the night. I didn't have desert, (which I never miss) having such a sweet tooth, I normally can't wait for pudding. By this time though, I just wanted to go home, however, we ordered a Brownie Trio and I think my boyfriend was stuffed and couldn't eat it all. He said it was really rich and flavourful. When we headed back home, we finally made up after some kisses and hugs, sometimes its all a woman wants really haha.

I'd like to thank Garbo's for the complimentary meal and hopefully I will come back again next month for a Vegan Evening, in a better mood. If your interested in trying out Vegan food, I highly recommend Garbo's in Uplands, they do the best Vegan menu's in Swansea.
Check out their Facebook page for more information,

Rose Patch

Red Rib Jumper Top- H&M / Floral Rose Patch Jeans- New Look / Black Boots- Miss Selfridge / Faux Leather Floral Bag- Marks and Spencer's

Hey guys, I'm back with a quick and simple outfit that I wore around town before I headed on a bowling date with my boyfriend. These jeans are super comfortable and fit so perfectly, I usually have difficulty with being quite petite. I love the rose detailing embroidered into the jeans themselves, they remind me of my childhood and I am super stoked about all the lovely pieces coming out in the high street stores. I'm starting to gather a little collection which I think is perfect timing seeing as its inspired me to start back to fashion blogging. My boyfriend took these photos on my iPhone because we forgot the battery for my DSLR ahh. It was actually really cold that day as well so that's why I partially look like I'm freezing. I'm back posting on Lookbook and Chictopia too, to be sure to fan my looks on there to keep up to date with my outfits.

Lots of love,

Black Floppy Hat- Topshop / Pink Frill Jumper- New Look / Black A- Line Skirt- New Look / Black Shoes- New Look / Floral Embroidered Bag- Marks and Spencer's / Black Coat- New Look

Hey guys, I decided I wanted to start blogging again today, it was a lovely sunny day. I grabbed my tripod and headed out to my favourite street, it has London-esque vibes. Since going blonde I have found my love for the colour pink again. I purchased this really cute pink frill top from New Look, and I am in love with it. I matched it with a floral embroidery bag bought recently from Marks and Spencers, thats just to die for right!? Its such a statement accessory and I've had lots of people as where I bought it from, because it looks like a designer piece. It was so cold today and my hands were blue whilst taking these photos, I also had an audience of builders laughing at me in their car. Oh how I love the public humiliation that I bring onto myself. Everyone loves a bit of a giggle and you can't taking your own photos too seriously because its actually quite vain. I wish I could get hold of a photographer who is reliable and always on time when I've got an outfit to shoot. I'm jealous of those bloggers with photographer boyfriends! Anyways this is a quick post to get the ball rolling again with regards to blogging, I want it to become my full time job in the future, fingers crossed.

Anyway be sure to follow my Instagram for all the amazing New Look hauls!

Lots of love,

Hello 2017

Hey guys, Happy New Year! hope you all had a lovely 2016, I think its safe to say my 2016 was a bit pants. I can't remember very much of it. Apart from going Vegan in April and starting to do a bit of Activism and passing Uni. I didn't blog very much in 2016 which I regret so much! I find blogging helps me in so many ways, to document my life and also so make personal progress with style and with your goals in life as well. I used to have focussed dreams and plans when I was blogging daily or even weekly and without that I was just drifting through. As a Virgo that's something that makes us so stressed out. We love to work towards plans and to be organised. These photos were taken just before Christmas in town. I had the urge one day to say sod it I am going to start blogging again. I took my tripod and my camera to about four different locations before just jumping into the deep end and taking photos in town again. Right in the middle of the busiest times of the year! Yeah, the whole of the town was staring at me, taking photos on my tripod. I forgot my poses and my angles and I just tried my best ahh. A lovely college student came up to me and started talking about photography which made me feel less like a bit of a nob. I need someone to depend on to help me take some street style photos, for sure. Anyways I'm trying to pass my 4th of Uni with having no interest at all, I am having a huge urge to just go full time with Fashion blogging and even trying out Youtube. That would be a dream!

Lots of love,
