Hey guys, I have SO much content to catch up on and post on here, its literally driving me crazy. I don't know what happened but since September when I threw myself into the deep end, started asking people if I could couch surf, just so that I could have people around me, because I felt so alone. When you come out of a number of failed relationships, you tend to lose friends, because you become too consumed with each other and dependent on them for comfort and happiness. I've done this since I was fifteen, its not advisable. I also wanted to challenge myself to see if I could travel around for a bit, with no money, a huge student debt over my shoulders and see if it would give me the opportunity to start focussing on what I want to do with my life. Which was firstly to establish my blog life again. Something that pulled me out of the dark shadows of anxiety and depression at the age of sixteen. I know if I focussed it would be able to pull me through again, because its something I am so passionate about. I am trying to put together blog posts on a daily basis and catch up with the insane amount of videos, photos and content from Sept-Dec. It seems like such a short period of time. But SO much has happened during that time and I am so grateful for the kind hearted people who let me stay on their sofas, who fed me and took out their time to talk to me. You've inspired me with you words to keep chasing my dream and to never give up. I was able to get back on my feet after a confidence set back and establish who I was again. Thank you so much with all my heart! xx

Anyways here is a Vegan Christmas Haul for you guys. Most of the items I had got given as a gift, and the others I had purchased myself. I want you to remember that, I will only post gifted items if I strongly like/love that product. I will not post anything I don't like, period.
Lets start with a collection from Eden Perfumes, they are 100% Vegan which means cruelty-free, not testing on animals and does not include animal ingredients.
The perfumes are so similar to the originals its amazing. The fact that Eden were so able to do this, saves a lot of people who can't let go of their favourite scent, which unfortunately often supports cruelty. If you had that option? heck why wouldn't you go for the same scent but cruelty-free right? I went with FlowerBomb, the number is 460, you'll be able to find it on their website. Valentina was another favourite and that was number 90. I also got other patchouli smelly scents, but they weren't quite as floral and feminine as I wanted.  Eden have two stores in Brighton that you can walk into and try on their perfumes. When I visited their larger store, the lovely people who work there are very welcoming. They want to be able to find the right perfume for you and allow you to test many different scents first.

Another favourite for this Christmas was purchasing this Pink Tea. I've seen it everywhere on Instagram and I was dying to try it out. Its made from Mangosteen, which is a powerful antioxidant. I love herbal teas so much, as I try to avoid caffeine because it rocks havoc with my hormones. This tea though is not like any other you'll find in Tesco or any super market stores. Mainly because of its gorgeous packaging and great benefits from drinking it regularly. Here are a few facts I discovered about drinking Mangosteen Tea.
  • The Mangosteen is a Tropical Fruit, not related to Mango!
  • Its been part of traditional herbal medicine for centuries
  • Helps with skin infections, intestinal problems and other ailments
  • Has strong anti-cancer properties
Find out more information here

I saw these cute Little Vegan Bunny Soy Candles on Instagram and I just had to get one myself. The packaging is so cute and its important to choose soy candles as a Vegan because most candles have Beeswax in them and thats from an animal, which is quite cruel to be honest. To find out more about why Beeswax is cruel you can research a few things here. But basically they melt the honeycomb with boiling water and then strain and cool it. This process in itself causes devastating effects to the lives of bees. Even though beeswax itself doesn't derive from the bee itself, the whole production of destroying their homes (honeycombs) and the mans part of trying to control their breeding process. When you should allow them to live naturally, without humans imposing on their survival.

I know I didn't get this Veganuary goodie bag for Christmas, but it feels like a gift. When I went to the event launch of their new book coming out in January. They gave us the most jam packed goodie bags at the end, it did feel like Christmas. This is whats left over, a few Pulsin bars. I was incredible grateful at what Veganuary are trying to do. That it also feels like a gift to be able to support them anyway we can as Vegans. We know its so exciting trying to make people see how delicious and how amazing being Vegan is. They say we are too pushy sometimes but we are just super excited because we know its the right and most powerful thing to do with our lives, is to be Vegan. As a gift to you guys and a gift to everyone, try and let them attempt a plant based diet for January and sign up for free here. They send recipes to your email, tell you what to buy. You literally don't have to pay for anything! apart from the food you buy...

Next fantastic item that was gifted for Christmas was from the lovely Vegan Watch company called Votch. I've had my eyes on this all black little number since I tried it on at the Ethical Fashion Event with Vevolution in April. I was so thankful that they actually sent one my way. Its a dream come true. I wear it everyday and its so lightweight that I forget to take it off sometimes and sleep with it on. I one hundred percent have been supportive of Votch since I first discovered their brand. Mainly because not only are they Vegan Friendly, they are Ethical. So they don't support slave labour, and there is no animal ingredients like Leather, which is cows skin? ew! in their products. Hooray! You can read more about the Votch here.

In October I went to Miss Patisserie's birthday blog event in Cardiff and I know I didn't buy all the beautiful contents within this lucky bag. But how frigging cool is it? They literally spoil their bloggers so much. I got so excited about the marble bag ahh. I've tried the Coconut Coffee Scrub before and it smells so lush you could literally eat it. I'd advise not to though. Even if you have run out in the morning. I got their Watermelon Moisturiser, which smells beautiful on the skin. Reminds me of Summer. All of their products are Vegan even though the name of the bath fizz cupcake is called Milk & Honey. I assure you there are no animal ingredients inside. So don't worry about that. The bath bombs are the best, they are full of colour and for some reason I love supporting local brands that are established in Wales. For example Miss Patisserie was created by two Welsh ladies and their branding, their company's morals about being Cruelty-Free and Vegan goes so well with my own. That I can't help but to be obsessed about their products. I'll create other blog posts about the events I attended back in Oct-Nov 2017 time. Like I said though, I've got so much content and so little time to post it, before a whole new year starts! Ahhh

I attended a Kat Von D launch in September in Debenhams, Cardiff City Centre. I had never tried any of her products before and was surprised that they were Vegan and Cruelty-Free. During the event we were mooching around trying everything on. Then at the end they surprised us and said that we can buy anything with a Debenhams voucher that they gave us. I was like oh my gosh what do I choose? There were so many choices. I went with this beautiful gothic perfume called Sinner. Its my favourite ever. It's dark and sultry, hints of cinnamon, vanilla and white florals. It can be worn onto of her other fragrance too called Saint. They also gifted us some lovely foundation to wear too. The KVD make up artists matched it to our skin colours and suggested what one to go for. At the time I was fake tanned up to the max, so regrettable I got a yellowish toned one. Which just didn't suit me at all. I decided after the event of being inspired by the pale, gothic looking ladies, that its such a beautiful think to be confident with your own natural skin colour. The pale skin with the bright red lipstick was so eye-catching and inspiring I started to rock it and unfortunately couldn't wear the foundation anymore. Anyways the one they matched me with was a Medium 53 Warm. To be honest, the foundation was probably one the best ones I've ever tried. It covers up acne and create such a flawless look. If I had time again I would go back to the Kat Von D girls and get matched up with my pale skin this time.

I attended an event at Waterloo Tea Cafe in Cardiff in November. Hosted by the wonderful Naissance, who like Miss Patisserie are a Welsh founded brand. From Port Talbot! Yay! I'll talk more about their event in another post, but I wanted to show you the amazing goodie bag they gave us. I was completely spoilt by all these wonderful companies this year, I didn't need any presents from anyone. I said I have everything I need, I don't need anymore. These little gifts though are such a necessity to your everyday life. Its important to have bath bombs, oils or things to use in a bit of a pamper sesh. They gave me some oils to use for massaging, but because I don't have a bae anymore. I decided to use them in my hair or on my skin and they are perfect. They also made us a lovely little mixture of oils to use on our skin, I can't remember what was in mine, but I know it was a Jojoba oil blend. Which is super good for the skin. They also gave use some Rosehip oil, which has been known for its wondrous benefits to heal skin and for hair growth. At the event we got to make our bath bombs, bath salts, and a coconut and lime scrub. It was a small intimate event but so worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, stayed tuned for more photos and information about the event.

Hope you enjoyed reading about my favourite products of this festive season.

Lots of love,

Hey guys, its so good to be back blogging, I've got lots of exciting posts prepared for Halloween. Here's a little sponsored post with Simply Be, they contacted me to share with you their amazing selection of Halloween pieces. My favorite are the Fluffy spider slippers and the Black Cat slippers how frigging cute! When they contacted me I was skeptical to work with them because I thought because I am so petite that there would be no selection of clothing or products suitable for me? But I was wrong, they tailor to all sorts of shapes and sizes you can find size 8 clothing pieces on there, bra sizes that go down to a 30A. Recently, I've put a bit of weight back on after  going through a stressful relationship so I'm back to a size 10-12 now thank gosh. Its really healthy to nourish your body with the right foods. That's what I've been doing and I can't wait until Halloween, because I love all of the sweets and chocolate that comes out in the shops!

I've chosen my favorite pieces from the site that include a lace body that you can wear with a pair of jeans as an outfit for Halloween. Or you could just wear it for a saucy night in haha. The silver embellished cape also caught my eye and it would look perfect with the body in an outfit. This wish list is kind of divided between some amazing Halloween themed pj's and lounge wear items to a potential spooky themed outfit with the choker. What do you usually do on Halloween? Stay in and cwtch up in the warm with lots of sweeties and watch horror movies, or do you dress up all fancy and head out and party? I'd love to know what your plans are for this year! or even what your going to dress up as.

Have a good evening lovelies,

Hey guys, I'm back with a cute Pastel Pink Travel wish list, with some lovely bits and pieces picked from Amara. If I were to travel abroad, which I never have, I would take a some of these pieces with me. I have heard from other people who have travelled on a plane, that it's important to have a suitcase that stands out, so when you see it coming down the conveyer, you can spot it at a distance. They always sound so relieved when they were telling me these stories of how important it is to know your belongings are safe. This Ted Baker Suitcase is so beautiful and defiantly worth the money, what a better way to travel in style?  Another pick I've chosen is the pastel heart travel mug, I literally lived by these mugs, not only are they good for the environment because your not throwing away paper cups from takeaway places. You can easily top up as you go. When bought my first silver travel mug from Wilko about three months ago now, it was the best investment ever. You save so much money because buying from Starbucks and Costa can be pricey when it all adds up in the end! The third item I selected was the amazing pineapple print make up bag. Every time I travel even to places like London, I love making sure my belongings are packaged in an organised manner. Medications and things in one bag, make up in the other, important cards, money or passport in another bag. I'm constantly collecting them and always love the ones they do in Primark but this Pineapple themed one is a must have and its actually everywhere in the shops ready for Summer 2017.

I found some amazing towels as well, and thats something that you need when your getting those amazing beach selfies. It will really make them stand out and look summery if you have a bright towel in the shot, or your laying on it in your bikini for example. This Sibylla towel has the most beautiful floral design, it makes me want to just hang it up and have it as a backdrop for a photo. As I was mentioning before about bags, I found some really cute wash and to wear bags on the site by Kate Spade, which keeps things super tidy and organised when your travelling around. I used to put my dirty clothes in a carrier bag, but then one time it got thrown away by the cleaner, so having a bag labeled clearly, always makes things much more easier. Another cute little item I found, was the amazing Lomography Camera, which basically is like an instant photo, using polaroid film, you take the photo and it prints out straight away. I have always loved taking disposable cameras from Boots for example on holiday, there seems to be such a better looking aesthetic to the image. Rather than carrying around a digital. The image has a nostalgic feel to it and you never know what its going to turn out like, which is the best. The last pick I chose was the Dust Pink headphones, which is a must when travelling long distances. There's nothing worse than trying to either fall asleep and you have the noise of other people. I find that with small earphones you can never block them out.  I would love to invest in some headphones one day, so that they last a long time, I am tired of my ear phones breaking. So there you have it, a selection of Summer Travel picks, let me know if you can think of any essentials to take when travelling? Hopefully I am getting a passport soon and will be able to go anywhere I wish!

Lots of love,

Hey guys, I'm back with a beach outfit! I managed to catch a calm sunny day to take some photos. I knew I wanted to shoot the goodies I received from Thomas Sabo out on the sand and I couldn't have picked a better day. Thomas Sabo were meant to have a blogger event on the same day as Spectrum Collections hosted theirs over in Tramshed / Cardiff. Unfortunately, they had to post-pone it, but I was lucky enough to be invited into their Cardiff store and receive some wonderful gifts. A lovely lady called Emma showed me around the shop and told me lots of information about the selection of accessories and the new collections out for Summer, which was helpful. The store was beautifully laid out and as soon as I entered St. Davids indoor shopping centre, their display caught my attention immediately.

So when I was told I could pick a charm for the bracelet, I knew I had to go with the The Evil Eye to signify a new beginning. A little bit of information about the charm Nazar's Eye,  it originates from the Turkish tradition of protecting oneself from evil.  I now feel positive and can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I am looking forward to upcoming blogger events. So stay tuned for whats happening next! Hope you like the photos,

Lots of love,

Hey guys, I'm back with a post about Miss Patisserie's launch into selling their products in Boots! When I heard about the news I just had to try out their stuff. I've been a fan of this perfume for a while and I've been buying their Cotton Soy Candles. So I was up for trying out their other products too. Before I talk you through how amazing the gift was that I've received. Here's a bit more information about the company.

Charlotte Simoes launched the honest Vegan skincare brand from her South Wales kitchen in 2009 and now Miss Patisserie will feature in the iconic beauty retailer store called Boots from May 15th 2017. You can also buy these products on the Boots store online here.

I tried out the Iggy Bath Ball first and had a bath with my niece back at home, she loved the colours of the product. What was so fascinating about this ball was the fact that it kept spinning around in the water, unlike a normal bath ball that fizzes, this literally spun around like a planet. It was mesmerizing to watch! Not sure if it was intentionally created that way but it was fantastic! There was no glitter within this ball, so once you left the bath your skin felt so soft. It didn't stain the bath or stain my hair, which I thought it might. It contains some really beautiful ingredients.

The Lavender Cupcake Bath Melt was so beautiful, it was relaxing and once the fizz had dispersed you were left with a little purple flower floating on the water. It was so cute. The product made my skin feel so soft too, you can buy these here. They are a perfect little gift for birthday and are suitable for Vegans, not edible haha.

So after trying out the amazing fizzy bath products, I then tried out the Mango Moisturiser, which I can say hands down is the best Vegan one I've tried so far. It smells delicious, really soaks into your skin and leaves you feeling properly moisturised. Lastly I have yet to try out the Coconut Coffee Scrub, I have opened it and it smells delicious. I just want to drink it! Apparently it reduces and tones cellulite, so time to start rubbing packets on my bum and legs, haha.

Hope you have enjoyed my quick review of the products, I would recommend you guys to check out their Instagram too. Their branding is impeccable and the ladies behind the company are approachable and friendly to talk to. So if you ever need to ask them questions they will always be available.
Lots of love,
Charlotte x

Black Floppy Hat- TOPSHOP / Polka Dot Playsuit- NEW LOOK / White Bag- NEW LOOK / Black Heel Boots- NEW LOOK

Hey guys, I'm back with outfit photos that I took when I was back at home in the Countryside. I always loved finding the most cute locations for outfit photos, it makes the look come alive with so much magic. Now University has ended I am in a dilemma of whether I want to move back home or to try and move to another City. I don't want to move back to the Countryside I feel like I have outgrown that now. I love living in a City, I love being around people so much. Does anyone get that? Anyways this playsuit was bought from Topshop ages ago and I am still getting used with taking photos again. These were taken with my Canon 500d that I've had from such a young age.  I have now bought the Canon M3 to start vlogging and its so fantastic when you want to take your own outfit photos. You can flip the screen around and you can see where you have positioned yourself within the photo. So now I'm turning over a new leaf and we are alone, no university, no relationships so lets do this, I hope you'll come along on the journey with me.

Lots of love,

Black Floppy Hat- TOPSHOP /Black Dress- OASAP / Lace Body layered underneath- H&M/ Black Boots- NEW LOOK/ White Bag- NEW LOOK

Hey guys, I'm finally done with University and to tell you the truth I struggled to finish this extra year that I applied for. Towards the end of the course, I became quite stressed because I couldn't focus, I couldn't force these creative ideas anymore. I wanted to work hard and earn money, and do stuff that makes me happy, like fitness or starting back fashion blogging again. So I didn't attend my exhibition I haven't applied for Graduation, because it all seems a bit too final for me. Its not for everyone, especially Graduation, the thought of how I'd manage my social anxiety wrecks me. I hate crowds and I just don't feel so proud of myself to say that I have learnt a lot on my course. I have grown and learnt SO many life lessons instead. I have changed in lots of ways within my personal development, I know what I want to do in the future. I even made a complete irrelevant slide show on this course and explained to everyone in the class that I want to be a full time fashion blogger. I didn't really see peoples reactions but hey ho. I know it sounds unrealistic and I'm pretty sure my Dad wouldn't be impressed, but I really love clothes. I love reviewing them, bringing them alive in the most beautiful backdrop or creating a staged set, just to make an outfit pop. For me clothes are more than something you just take a photo of on the street and call it street style, clothes create character, they create memories and thats always something I've love to express throughout my 5 years of blogging. So now its an end of an era and I feel very anxious about the future and where I'll end up. But whats making me stay positive right now is the fact I am allowed to dress up in outfits I love on the daily and take photos without any pressure of essays or coursework. Phew!
Hope your all well guys, and you can keep up to date with events and brands I've been working with over on my Instagram.

Lots of love,

Charlotte x
