Hey guys, I thought I'd let you know what I take to the Gym with me on a daily basis. It's something that I enjoy reading and seeing what other people carry in their bags. I don't know why but its always fascinating and sometimes reminds me that, hey why didn't I think of carrying around that... So here's is a quick post about whats in my gym bag. The first thing is an Umbrella, no matter where you are in Wales you will always need one. Especially with the strong winds living by the Sea, they easily break. Thanks to Rooi for supplying me this beautiful Geometric Print Umbrella that I can safely say, I haven't used yet because its been unusually lovely weather. Secondly with all of the exercising, sometimes I can get dry lips from a bit of dehydration so its always good to keep The Little Blue Tin, lip balm with you, its great because all Superdrug's own brands are mostly Vegan and Cruelty Free. I also carry around  their Vitamin E Moisturiser, Deodorant Spray and Hand Sanitiser. One thing that I always make sure I bring with me and that is fully charged the night before is my iPod. A work out is not the same without your motivating music playing in your ears. Or when your battery goes dead. Keeping your iPod in your bag is a must for smashing a good work out. Also having a good bag to carry all of this stuff in is necessary too. I bought one last year from Gymshark, and only this year I realised it turns into a rucksack too, it carries so much weight. All of my fresh food shopping, I've taken it on really long journeys. Its the best, so I highly recommend investing in a good gym bag.

Carrying around a Notebook is always handy, you can look back over notes of motivation to yourself, or check out goals you want to achieve. They are always really good to have in your bag. Typing stuff into a phone sometimes isn't the same as putting pen to paper, can anyone else relate? A few months back I discovered Batiste which is a dry shampoo company and a biggest life saver! After a sweaty workout sometimes its nice to just quickly spray your barnet with this and its Vegan too which is even more awesome! One thing that I make sure I take with me as well is Make up, I know its stupid to wear make up in a workout, but come on what girl strips it all of in public? I don't want people seeing my tomato faced self... When I went Vegan finding 100% affordable Vegan make up was the hardest thing, so correct me if I'm wrong but I bought GOSH products and B by Superdrug. If these aren't Vegan let me know asap!

Two products left that I bought last year was the Pink Smart Shaker and the Flip Belt, both that are a necessity when heading to the gym. Its extremely important to keep on drinking water throughout  your workout, and this doesn't mean heading over to the fountain and taking sips. Actually replenish your lost fluids properly! Also the Flip Belt that I bought actually took so long to arrive, but once it did it saved my workouts. No more putting your iPod in your Bra or in your yoga pants, this belt is the best thing created.

So I hope this post helps you to think about what you take to the Gym and perhaps inspires you to buy some Vegan and Cruelty Free products.

Lots of love,

Hey guys, since going Vegan about 5 months ago now I have been hooked on watching Vegan Vloggers on Youtube. They have helped me so much with all things Vegan and I want to share with you my top 10 favourites, in no particular order and why I love them so much.

1. Supreme Banana

I found Cami when I first when Vegan, I wanted to make cakes for a fundraising bake sale in Uni and came across her Vegan Life Hacks Video. Where she talks about using regular cake mixture from the supermarket and adding any fizzy pop / soda to it and you have an easy and cheap cake. I became addicted to watching her videos because she was like a close friend. Her quirkiness made her videos watchable of course that and her amazing blue eyes and white teeth. She's bubbly and recently I love watching her Veganized series where she tries to Veganize weird food like giant jelly babies or galaxy nachos.

2. Henya Mania

Yes Henya Mania, she was someone I had watched regularly since going Vegan. She is yet again like close friend, she is down to earth, she doesn't care what she says or does, she just goes with her heart. I love watching her daily Vlogs and seeing what she gets up to. It's lovely to have genuine vloggers who don't perform to get views and likes. It's amazing to see how much of a strong woman she is even if she has been through some tough times, its inspiring!

3. The Vegan Spartan aka Brad Arthur

I recently came across Brads channel when Brianna Jackfruitson mentioned him being one of the hottest male Vegan guys. So I flew over to his channel to check him out. Theres one thing that crossed my mind becoming a Vegan and that was, 'I'll never be able to date again'... When I discovered his videos I knew that it was ok, I could at least still look at the menu, and stalk a little bit, until I finally get to meet some sexy Vegan men! You can read about my horrendous first time Vegan dating experience over on my Swansea Vegan Festival blog post. Speed dating and Vegan Beer!
Once I discovered his channel I was hooked, why didn't this lad have more subscribers, his videos were such good quality, his content and speeches were clear and precise AND he had a sexy Scottish accent, what more could you ask for? Check out his channel ladies, but hands off I'm first in que...

4. Brianna JackFruitson

I've been watching Brianna's videos since I started becoming a Vegan last year in 2015. I was in a transition period and wanted to educate myself more. Brianna's videos are so amazing, she is very well spoken and her content has a very friendly approach, which is why I love watching them. Yet again she is like having a close friend that you can watch blossom and relate to. She used to have similar issues of such as my own surrounding worries about food and social anxiety and it is overwhelming and inspiring to see her travel and become such a confident person. I hope to meet her one day!

5. Kristen Leo

I found Kristen's channel through Henya Mania and she is my favourite Vegan Vlogger. I love everything about Kristen's content, her interest in ethical fashion which relates to my own coming from a fashion blogger's perspective. She has amazing hair and is really down to earth in her videos, I love how awkward and goofy she can be at times and her personality shines through in her content.

6. That Vegan Couple

I came across Natasha and Luca's channel when the whole Essena O'Neil drama kicked off online. They introduced me to the word 'Vegan' and I thought to myself oh they're annoying I would never be a Vegan. Here I am now a year later watching their channel like a hawk, I love every video they post and depend on their well researched information to help me through my Vegan Journey. They are like my Vegan Parents!

7. Full Circle Vegan aka Cory

Well what can I say, another Vegan hottie, yes thats right ladies. Even though Cory posts a lot about the Vegan Online Drama in the community on Youtube, which is kind of funny. I love his older videos that he created with his friend and his brother Derek. His daily Vlogs are another favourite and he is super talented creatively. Hope to meet Cory one day as well!

8. Naturally Stephanie

I found Stephanie's channel through Henya Mania's and what a great find! She is a Scottish lass and into fitness which is helping me so much on my fitness journey as a Vegan. If some of you don't already know I used to be a gym-goer all last year and trained so hard. But became quite exhausted because I used to under carb a lot and didn't enjoy the eating side. The routine became boring and I knew that there was something else, but I couldn't quite grasp what is was that I needed to find. And that was VEGANISM! A high carb lifestyle helped my training so much, it gave me amazing energy. Thanks to Stephs channel I am now inspired to eat what I want and I do follow some of her work out routines as well. She's a huge inspiration!

9. Vegan Geezer
I came across Bob's channel on Facebook when this video below was being shared around. He is another down to earth Youtuber and speaks from the heart. I love how he is your everyday lad wanting to make a difference, his son is the most adorable and entertaining to watch. His videos are informative and he is such a great speaker, someone that your everyday person can relate to. He takes away the stereotypes associated with vegans such as hippies and shows people that anyone can be Vegan. Great work!

10. Ela Gale

Finally, my last favourite vlogger is Ela Gale, who I recently discovered. Her channel is full of helpful tips and tricks and I love watching her videos. She has such a calm voice and her videos are really helpful.

Hey lovelies, the weather has been really miserable this week so I decided to bake some cookies and watch movies. These are Vegan and so delicious I followed this recipe step by step from Minimalist Baker  she calls hers Breakfast Muffin Oat Cookies. Which is exactly what they are, I got a bit tired of eating oats all the time for breakfast and always fancy having a biscuit with a cup of tea, or grabbing something on the go and these are just the thing! They aren't very biscuity but they are soft and just the best, I made them yesterday and there are about four left. Whoops!

(Mine is slightly altered to the Minimalist Baker's)

- 2 Flax 'Eggs' = 2 Tbsp of Flax Seed and 5 Tbsp of Water
- 1 Medium Banana, Preferably quite ripe with brown spots so it mashes easily
- 1 Tbsp of Smooth Peanut Butter
- 1 Tbsp of Date Syrup
- 1 Tbsp of Fruit Sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp of Cinnamon
- 1 Scoop of Vanilla Sun warrior Protein Powder
- 2 Tbsp of Melted Coconut Oil
- 1/2 Tsp of Baking Powder
- 1 Cup of Porridge Oats
- 75% Dark Chocolate, I got mine from Tesco's for £1
- Handful of  Fresh Blueberries

(Always follow the step by step instructions instead of
throwing it all in the bowl like I usually do haha)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (176 C).
2. In a large bowl combine the Flaxseed and water and mix well, let it sit for about 3 mins so it becomes quite sticky like an egg texture.
3. Mash up the banana in a separate bowl with a fork, then add to the Flax seed and mix well
4. Add the Peanut Butter, Date Syrup, Fruit Sugar, Melted Coconut Oil and Baking Powder and mix together.
5. Add the Oats to the mixture and then finally the Blueberries and Chocolate pieces
6. Put some foil on a baking tray, and lightly rub some Coconut Oil over, so the cookies don't stick!
7. Grab a handful and roll into a small ball in your hands and place on tray, gently press down into a biscuit shape, depending on how big you want the cookies to be!
8. Place them in the oven for about 10-15 mins and wait until they have gone brown.
9. Remove with oven gloves, place on a pretty plate and drink with Coconut Milk. Yum!
(Also consume all the next morning, its a must, haha)

Lots of love,
