NEW CHAPTER

Hey guys, so after six years of being in relationships I can say I am finally alone, the thought used to terrify me that I would hang on to people even when it wasn't working. Now I have time to focus on myself, figure out who I am, what I like. I don't have to dress up girly and attractive for a guy anymore, I can be me without trying to prove anything to anyone. Honestly I found it so confidence shattering being with guys I always just felt trapped. I'm pretty much a wild girl and I like to be free, pretty much how Lana describes herself in the monologue to the song 'Ride'. My new found style matches my attitude, my mood it seems to just click for me right now. I don't feel that magic that I used to living in the countryside, down here in the City, I love the urban side. I have taken a liken to the relaxed sports luxe trend that has been emerging this year, I'm probably a few months late, but I've noticed a few pieces are still flooding the shops. WGSN has influenced me a lot with current trends, I will do a post on it later on and perhaps that will inspire you guys. It seems quite weird to go from pretty pink dresses, to this urban gangster style, but it has always been a part of me. Being raised by three brothers who live in this kind of clothing I always had a checkered shirt tied around my waist with a baseball cap on as a child. So this does feel like a big step from what you guys may already know my blog for. Perhaps I will do some vintage inspired shoots when I go back to the countryside, but for now I'm going to start building up a new wardrobe. Isn't that fashion is for to be able to completely reinvent your character whenever you want?

Lots of love,
Charlotte xo

Almond Blossom

DIY Headband| Sunglasses- Urban Outfitters| Blossom Dress- She Inside*| Nude Heels- New Look| Earrings- River Island| Coin Necklace- H&M

Hey guys it has been forever since I properly blog posted an outfit. My first year of photography is completed, the weather is shining, I have a new job which means money. Life is great right now, especially after receiving this blossom print dress from She Inside. It really put a smile on my face because its so similar to the Dolce & Gabbana SS14 collection but it only cost $23. Anyway I felt like a Sicilian Princess with my gold coin accessories, the earrings are from River Island, they are huge to wear, a bit heavy but so worth it, they are beautiful! I've been buying a lot of statement jewellery recently from Primark, River Island anywhere really, it makes an outfit come alive. Obviously inspired by the statement jewellery Queen Arabella.  I found this run down patio area near my house, it instantly makes me feel like I'm in a foreign country I love dreaming I'm in Italy.

Lots of love,

Sweetness and Danger

Silk Playsuit, worn as a top*- Miss Guided| Pink Capri Trousers*- French Connection| Black Sandals- New Look| Diamond Gold Chain Necklace- Primark| Sunglasses- Primark

Hey guys, its been a long time since I've blogged an outfit. I've been so ill over the past couple of months its crazy. I think stress is a big contributor to getting sick all the time, anyway now that he is out of my life I feel my life is changing dramatically. There is nothing worse than being with someone that puts you down all the time and never compliments or even really likes you haha. This outfit was inspired by Lana Del Rey in her music video National Anthem, she wore a silk cross bodied blouse, and some capri trousers that I thought looked quite glamorous/ gangster had 60s vibe to it. The top is actually a playsuit from Miss Guided but its worn as a blouse, I think it matches quite well. I never bought jewellery or anything really from Primark so I decided to spend a few pounds on statement necklaces, for example this diamond chain piece looks so flawless with almost every outfit. I'll do a shopping haul soon as I've been meaning to for a while. However, with only under 5 weeks left of University now is a busy month for work so I might be off the scene for May. But I'm looking forward to the long Summer. I also have a photography job and its keeping me busy and channelling my negative energies into something good which is always a plus after an awkward break up.

Lots of love,
Charlotte x
