One is nearer to God's heart in a garden

Hey guys what a busy day exploring! I ventured up to my local Castle to have a peek around as I've never been to it before, it was so beautiful. They were working on the walls for bits of it but the view was amazing. It was very quiet so I had the whole place to myself, I wandered around finding little steps that led down to some secret place and it was so much fun. Quite scary at times I always feel like ghosts haunt the place. I found a cute outside chapel called St Georges and it had an altar where you could kneel for prayer. The words written on there and were so enchanting "The kiss of the sun for pardon, one is nearer to God's heart in a garden". I had so many ideas and was full of inspiration just being in that small garden. I would love to go back again and take good editorial type photos with religious props, cushions and flowers. I feel blessed to live in such a beautiful place, I really do miss all of this green lushness when I am down in the City for Uni. It hasn't been very kind to me, I can admit I have sinned a lot whilst being down there and I just want to feel naive, innocent and pure again. But I guess thats just life lessons to be learnt and where Lana Del Rey's, Gods and Monsters song is so relatable!

My original plan was to take photos in front of the five foot tall fox glove flowers, but it was unfortunate to be right on the side of a busy main road. I think its an entrance to someone's garden and it was too risky to leave my tripod and camera on the side of the road with fast cars. So I ended up taking photos in the Castle instead. The Pink Lace Dress I'm wearing is from a company called Wal G and to be honest it didn't fit me that well. The dresses nowadays seem to be made for big busted girls and the flat chested ladies like myself have no say in the matter. Well thankfully I managed to put my fashion fairy skills to the test and adjust and customise it. I had sewn the dress to my bra so that it would stay right in place and the shoulders wouldn't fall down. I tied some pink ribbon bow to each side under the arm to take away a bit of the bagginess. I think it looks even more better once customised with bows, belts and pearl & diamond accessories.

To top of the lovely sunny day we had afternoon tea at the Garden Centre which was delicious, the chocolate brownie was my favourite. Then whilst walking back to the car we saw a mint green Figaro Car, I do love old vintage looking cars.

Lots of love,

Charlotte
