Hey guys as you can see I have messed my hair up again, for those of you who have followed my blog since 2011 you'll know it happens frequently. I get this urge to change my hair knowing from previous mistakes that it always ruins it but I think this time it'll be different. I was wrong, sometimes I wonder wheres my intuition. Anyway I liked it for a day whilst it matched the orang in my outfit, but then a day later I was back trying to dye over it. I used Bleach London which was seven pounds, I'll write a shopping haul post about it later on. Once you have black hair its so difficult to get out of it. If you want anything lighter it takes patience and months of bad hair days to do so, but then if you impatient like me you'll just dye over any mistake without having the public humiliation of people seeing your messed up hair. There is nothing worse than seeing peoples roots or bad hair dyes, I've always been so sensitive about this even through secondary school. If my hair doesn't look good I instantly get depressed.

So this outfit was tailored to my current hair situation. The orange leaf top was made by my grandmother and saved from her house. The skirt dungaree things I never know the real name for them. They are from OASAP and to be honest I love them, they are high waisted and suit my petite frame. They enhance my leg length and you can almost wear anything underneath them especially if you have bought a basic colour like black. The tweed jacket is from a vintage shop I bought ages ago I can't even remember the name, but I fell in love with its detail. It's from Italian and it reminds me on the inside of a tree. I took these photos on possibly the busiest road so I had to keep moving the tripod whilst every car passed. The sun kept poking in and out and had to constantly change the camera settings. I uploaded these photos to flickr and some how blogger loves to destroy the quality of them, they make them blurry and desaturated. I know for a fact they are not that way originally, is anyone else having problems with images?

Lots of Love,
Charlotte x

  1. So lovely!

  2. love the top underneath! and that jacket is a good find!

  3. Lovely outfit, as usual :) A tip if you're having problems with Blogger changing the colour/quality of your images - go to your Google+ page and on 'Settings' scroll down to where it says 'Photos and Videos' - make sure 'Auto Enhance' is set to OFF.

Mine was set by default to NORMAL and my images used to come out looking a lot warmer than they were meant to. Haven't had any problems since I turned it off though :)

  4. Lovely layering, such a cute look especially the pinafore!

  5. i love the top and the collar! and obviously it won't help you feel better about your hair, but i think it looks really nice! :-) x

  6. I adore the outfit! You're right, it's perfectly matched with your hair..and they're not so bad! But i love your "old" hair, though!
Don't know why, but all the parts of your look reminds me of autumn! Yeah, it definitely sounds like autumn! (that's a compliment!)

  8. Aww you should use coconut oil with bleachings. It'll speed up the process much quicker than by itself.

I love your hair and this outfit! So pretty :3

Flickr is a pain in the butt to use. For Photoshop, I always change the resolution from 240 to 72, resize my images to have a width or height of 1000px and choose Bicubic Smoother.

  9. this outfit is so adorable! your hair does not look messed up to me at all!! i've definitely had problems w/blogger destroying the quality of photos. not sure what the solution is yet.
