I could always remember having a Russian Doll as a childhood toy, I was fascinated with them, the patterns and the concept. When I saw Meadham Kirchhoff's Menswear 2014 collection I fell in love with their shoe designs. I love the basic yet so intricate drawings Ed always seems to create. I applied this design to my Grandmothers Old Red Rain Coat, I hand painted it with acrylic and it seems to have not have fallen apart yet although I haven't worn it out in the rain. It just looks so pretty hung up in my room. I think everyone admires the womenswear collection of Meadham Kirchhoff but forgets the Menswear which Ben submissively creates, are just as beautiful. My other DIY idea was to create a 'Fag t-shirt'. I can't explain to you how much MK inspire me to start little DIY projects I love their creativity so much. In this look I colour my hair with chalk, well my extensions I wanted to try it out for a while, it doesn't work so well and it got my clothes messy. The bag was a small DIY project last year I collected artificial Flowers from the pound shop and glued them onto a Plain Canvas Tote Bag bought from Amazon, I used Copydex glue. It got a lot of compliments when I carried it around Town, the pharmacist lady was overjoyed at how colourful it was and it lit up the room. Another girl in Town stated 'I want that bag', little things like this really boost my confidence up to wear out the quirky things I create and to not fear being different and creative in a City where pretty much everyone wears the same clothes as one another. Also I have noticed whenever my hair is Dark or Black bad things seem to happen, and as soon as I put colour in my hair I get happier and luckier. This must be some sort of weird spell right? This evening I dip dyed my hair Orange against the Black creating a fiery mane. I just can't leave my hair alone and dress normal and boring its physically and mentally impossible.

Lots of Love,
Charlotte x
