001. Hey guys sorry no outfit of the day photos today I've been shopping for all my Uni stuff. I still have yet to make a start on my summer project. I have to make things out of paper and the theme is wardrobe and I would love to have the time to do it, but with my blog its quite difficult, I don't want to leave you guys!! But I think its an important step for me. If I am away for a couple of days without notice I'll be fluttering around trying to create something magical. You can always catch me on Twitter if you'd like to stay connected.  Its my birthday on the 21st of September and I can't help but to search endlessly for presents or cute pieces I could buy! I have asked for Lolita Lempicka Perfume and this wonderful Lazy Oaf sticker shirt, you can get the T-shirt version here. Its so irresistibly cute! I recently discovered Helen Rochfort collection, she creates these wonderful bags, with the best photos on. I think her recent collection are even scented!! How great is that? I adore her watches and I wish one day to own one of her creations.

001. Hey everyone sorry about the absence again, so much has been going on. I am trying to buy things for university i'll be starting in four weeks time. It was my brother and sister in laws birthday, and some bad things have happened as well but they will all be resolved im sure when I move near the sea. Its my birthday in about four weeks as well and i'll be turning twenty! Yikes no more teenage years left. I still have to do so many things.

002. Anyway I made this ice cream sundae bandeau top from a fat quarter. They are cheaper to than to purchase by the meter, and thankfully I am lacking in the boob department so I can get away with making them. I bought some elastic and measured above the breast and below and then cut and sewed it up and then tacked the fabric together, its not finished yet. I still need to machine sew it for it to be even a little bit wearable. But I just adore the print on it, I think there should be more clothes out there with more designs like these on them. How can you feel sad when your wearing your favourite sweet treats printed around your bosoms? I would love to buy another bit though and create a frilly trim like Lolita's here.

FRIDAY FAVOURITES

friday favourites
(Wu & Wu Pencil Set- DOLLYDAGGER, White Quilted Heart Skirt- ASOS, Pink Jelly Sandals- URBAN OUTFITTERS, Cupcake Wipes- TOPSHOP, Wu & Wu Rocking Horse Make Up Bag- DOLLY DAGGER, White Jumper with Pink Hearts- TOPSHOP, Blue Bralet with Mesh Hearts- TOPSHOP, Trinket Print Skinny Jeans- TOPSHOP, Kitty Magnetic Notebook- PAPER CHASE

001. Hey everyone I thought I would share with you my Friday Favourites. If I had money I would buy these as soon as possible but I am going to be very kind to you and let you all buy them before me. Normally I'm like a Magpie and would not dare to share my wish lists in fear of them all selling out before I could buy them. But I think you guys deserve this. Its kind of a selection of things inspired by Meadham Kirchhoff and Lana Del Rey. I have bought the Trinket Print Jeans from TOPSHOP and they are so stretchy and comfortable but unfortunately sold out now. You can still buy the Shorts I think or the Bralet, they are in the sale and have such a cute print. I had my eyes on this dress but its sold out but isn't it such a gorgeous print! Its like the sweet Lolita patterns merging with the 1950's style dresses. Both of which are my favourites ever, in fact I bought this fabric to make a bow or a bandeau from so I shall be DIY'ing soon! I hope you enjoyed the collage and don't forget to leave a comment if you have anything from the above and tell us what its like.

GIRLS WHO LOOK FOR HEAVEN

001. I was just browsing through Vogue for my uni project and came across Lana Del Rey's personal playlist I thought I would share it with you. Its funny to say this but most of the songs sound like they have definitely influenced her album. Its a playlist for the girls who look for heaven, smoke sweet cigars, swaying in the summer breeze watching the sunset.

001. Hey guys second post of the day! I'm drugged up and ready to blog for an hour. I've taken some drugs to numb a bit of the pain and I can hopefully ring the dentist tomorrow when he's back off holidays. I just couldn't delay these photos any longer they are too pretty, well the dress that is. Its my favourite, and a shame I never went to prom because I was poorly so now I can dress up every day and for it to be a perfectly normal excuse. The dress is from OASAP, I don't care if its too overly formal I am going to wear this on a daily basis even with a t-shirt understand I'll make it work. The gold embroidery across the corset and on the skirt adds to the whole Baroque/ Marie Antoinette feel its also quite similar to this. If a piece of clothing has Lace detailing, Crocheting or any form of Embroidery or Appliqué I'm all over it. There is something about those little extra's that make the piece a whole lot more unique and magical.

002. Anyway I have a summer project to do for University that involves drawing and involving different types of papers, on top of that they want me to learn Origami, which has proven to be fun but very tricky at the same time!

THE LITTLE MOD DOLLY

MD7

001. Hey Girlies, so I got the most wonderful gift from Amy He, the creator of Mod Dolly.
Its such a great little shop full of pretty dresses with a vintage touch. It was founded in 2010 with an aim of creating a range of for girls who like to be a little playful with their everyday style. I didn't know what Amy was going to send me it was a complete surprise and I am glad she picked this dress! She knows me too well, I love pink and the floral pattern is just a great design its vintage but yet modern at the same time. It has an elasticated waistband so is very comfy around the tummy. I always find sometimes zipped dresses can feel too tight through out the day and I for one always seem to undo the zip a bit. This dress can be styled in many ways. Because I am such a short lady, I had to hike it up a bit with a belt and then fold the top over to hid the elastic waist from showing. I wanted to add a tutu underneath to make the skirt look more like puffy like the ones from the 1960s. I added a peter pan collared blouse underneath because I feel like a dress is naked without them. Amy also added a few sweeties in the candy striped bag and I immediately gobbled them like some crazy sweet fairy!

002. The shop design has just recently be revamped and its so quirky. They also playsuits and jewellery and recently I have been swooning over this Candy Striped Prom Dress and this Roller Skater Necklace. You can check it out all the other products here and like Mod Dolly on Facebook here, and follow them on twitter here. You can also check out Amy's blog called Dolls United.

DREAMING OF LOVE BOATS

DREAMBOATS2fg

DRESS- TOPSHOP
SHOES- PEACOCKS

001. Today I went to collect the last Heart Dress from my local topshop which they kindly saved for me when I rang up yesterday. I was over the moon that it finally came down from £48 to £20, I didn't want to look over at the other sale items because I know I would of wanted so many other pieces. I just love topshop sales, but as you probably have already figured out sale pieces always seem to have a flaw, for example this heart dress was kind of see through and the top half where the hearts are is very low, I dont know whether your not supposed to wear a bra or not with it but the back is kind of open as well. The skirt is a very thin material and quite floaty, as I have already learned when I eagerly wore it after. It was so windy today and i think the majority of men or women have counted the stripes on my underwear!

002. After visiting the town we took my grandma to the Garden Centre for lunch I couldn't help but to take loads of photos of the beautiful roses there and I heartbreakingly saw lots of them cut up and thrown in the bin! Out the kindness of my heart I rescued a few and sneakily popped them in my bag. Honestly what are people like this days, just because they had a few brown petals. I then pottered around the indoor sales and picked up two cute notebooks of which now I can plan outfits and blog posts more accordingly. I got 6 card embellishments for £5, some tea party bunting, and a plastic shopper bag all for £1 each. I just love a good bargin!

003. On our way home we stopped by the boating lake which is my all time favourite place. We had an ice-cream and admired the beautiful pond. I wondered off taking some photos by myself after my ddad complained he couldn't focus my camera properly and that it was broken haha. Well it turned out to be a bit of a challenge I didn't have my timer remote nor my tripod so I had to balance my camera on stones and fencing.  Some turned out ok others well... they are quite comical. I hope you enjoyed them as much as I had fun taking them today. I also want to say a quick thanks to Ellie for helping me tweak my blog design. I think this ones a keeper.
