DIY CHRISTOPHER KANE INSPIRED DRESS
BLACK BOOT HEELS- KOI COUTURE(*)
RED LIPSTICK- LIME CRIME(*)

001. Hello you lovely lot here is a quick DIY post, I can't really go into too much detail but here is what I've been up to recently. I have to use paper to create something from a wardrobe, but I don't have a mannequin so I'm finding it hard to get the shape for a dress. Instead I'm using vintage and old shirts and dresses to decorate using paper. For example I took these flower designs from this bag tutorial herecut them out with a sharp scalpel and then stick them on with Copydex or fabric glue. It looks great for photos and just like the real thing by Christopher Kane. I would love to actually make a dress from organza and then use iron on transfer paper so the design can be wearable and affordable. But for now I shall plodder on creating more things from paper! Hope you like it and if any of you make something similar link me I would love to check out other DIY's.

It was on my projects list, but I'm too lazy to make a real Christopher Kane dress, I hope to find enough time to try your version!

  11. Your DIY has inspired me! Lovely blog, I found you on lookbook. I bet sewing on appliques would work well too (besides iron-ons or paper). You look awesome!
