001. Hey everyone, I've been really inspired lately by the 1950s and 1960s style, it started when I watched Lolita, then I saw that Lana had really captured the style well, and then it started flooding the fashion magazines like Elle and Vogue. Everywhere I look there are circle shades, pastel colours, brogues and beehives. I've never really explored that era, I love the victorian and edwardian fashion styles but I am really excited to explore this one. I have also been inspired by Tavi, she seems to have channel those era's in her fashion style as well.  I'm so excited to see where it leads me.

002.  I have also had a very busy day myself, I have been shopping. Take a look at the things I have bought in the photos below. A charity shop near me sells old stock of Urban Outfitters so I have bought so much for so little money. I am so happy with everything! I got two rings a Lana Del Rey inspired one and a gold cross ring. I got three bra tops for £3 and some cat eye sunglasses and granny glasses both £2.50 each. Then I got a white embroidered head scarf that I adore, it means no more cutting up fabric and making hair bows.  I then went to another charity shop and managed to buy a white floral embroidered shirt, I've been after one ever since I saw them in the pastel trend this year. I got a white Marilyn Monroe white dress and a floral gypsy type top that I'm going to cut up into a crop top I think. I also bought some Macaroons from Waitrose! at last they were the only ones left on the shelf!! They were £6 but so worth it. Also had to buy Glamour magazine for the free sample.
